Selection Guide For Pvc Waterstop

Ribbed / Serrated / Corrugated Type WITH Central Bulb

The most common and versatile type used. It is used in Expansion, Contraction, and Construction Joints. This type should be used where a large amount of movement is expected. The grater the expected movement, the larger size of PVC-WATERSTOP with Bulb & Thickness should be used. The Bulb works with both lateral and transverse movement, and the Ribs provide better watertight sealing than do the Non-ribbed types.

Ribbed/Serrated/Corrugated Type WITHOUT Central Bulb

This type of PVC-WATERSTOP is used in construction joints where little or no movement is expected. The Ribbed type give better watertight sealing then does the non-ribbed type.

Dumb Bell Type WITHOUT Central Bulb:

This type is primarily used in below grade joints where little or no movement is anticipated, or in joints Where predetermined lateral movement is 1” or less. Ribs Type provide better watertight sealing then do the Non-ribbed types.

Dumb Bell Type WITH 1 Central Bulb

Used where movement, even if transverse and longitudinal, must be accommodated. Ribs Type provide better watertight sealing then do the Non-ribbed types.

Surface/ Kicker Type Without or with 1 Central Bulb

Designed for ongrade Installation at the bottom of concrete slab to prevent upward seepage of ground water through joints, in thin slab construction. or to waterproof joints at wall/slab junctions.
